Life Coaching Session
Life Coaching Session with Jennifer Ricupero
We talk about you! Some common areas that we talk about include stress, sleep, nutrition, physical activity, balance, communication, weight management, and clutter. Sessions can take place in-person, online, or via phone.
1. Your first coaching session is typically 30 - 60 minutes. During this session, you'll tell your coach all about you. You'll discuss what you value most, what your lifestyle is like and what you'd like it be. You'll then work together to develop a plan. This plan will include your long term goals as well as the little steps that will help you ultimately reach them.
2. After your first session, you and your coach will have follow-up sessions that fit your schedule. Your follow-up sessions will focus on your successes and challenges from the previous week. You'll talk about what worked, what didn't, explore why and then you'll develop goals for the next week. Many people are surprised to learn that often the most productive
sessions are often when you did not accomplish your goals. This is when you and your coach can really figure
out what is holding you back from making the choices that will get you to where you want to be.
3. The length of your program will depend entirely on what you want. We recommend a program be at least 6 - 8 sessions in order to make the most lasting change. However, everyone is different. Some people want a shorter program and others prefer to have more of an ongoing relationship with their coach as a support system. Since this is about what you want, you and your coach work together to customize your program.
You should expect to walk away with new insights about your well-being and a healthier life. You should gain a sense
of clarity that will help you make your healthiest choices in life. Most clients are not sure what a health and wellness coach can do for them at the beginning of their sessions. After just a few sessions though, clients typically say how thankful they are that they took the time to invest in themselves.
As one client reported, “I actually pay attention to what I do each day and make choices that will help me instead of just letting life happen to me.”
